 Everton defender John Stones, the subject of continued
attention from Chelsea this summer, has submitted a transfer request,
the BBC reported on Tuesday.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that the 21-year-old
would not be sold, despite reported bids of 20 and 26 million pounds
(31 and 41 million dollars).
But the BBC said Stones had told Everton he wants to leave.
