 Serie A side Roma have signed French defender Lucas
Digne on a one-season loan agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, the
Rome side said Wednesday.
Roma paid the French champions 2.5 million euros (2.85 million
dollars) with a right to purchase the footballer in June 2016 for a
reported amount of about 15 million euros.
Digne, 22, is considered one of France's promising left wing
defenders. He debuted in professional football in 2011 with Lille,
under current Roma coach Rudi Garcia. He played eight games with the
national French squad.
