FC St Pauli continue deals spree

FC St Pauli, the Hamburg-based team playing in the 2. Bundesliga, have renewed three of their existing sponsorship deals.

Pharmaceutical company Pohl Boskamp and Salzbrenner Sausages have both renewed deals as third-level sponsors of the club, equating to a financial commitment of around €150,000 per season according to Sponsors.de. Both are three-year extensions, until the end of the 2017/18 season. Boskamp and Salzbrenner will both receive a branding presence on the dugouts at St Pauli's Millerntor-Stadion.

Cleaning services provider Wolff, meanwhile, have renewed their deal at the fourth tier, worth €75,000 per year to St Pauli. The Wolff extension is for two years, until the end of the 2016/17 season.

The club has been on something of a sponsorship drive this summer, also signing or renewing deals with Generali, Captain Morgan, Brunckhorst Catering, Hella, Happybet, Under Armour and Levis in recent months.

Elsewhere in German soccer, St Pauli's 2. Bundesliga rivals 1860 Munich have brought Austrian sports betting firm Tiplix onboard as a second-tier partner for the 2015/16 season.
