Norwegian biathlon star Ole Einar Bjoerndalen said
Thursday he is back in full training after being sidelined for six
weeks this summer due to an infection.
"I was very doubtful whether I could recover after so many weeks
without training," the athlete told Norwegian broadcaster NRK.
"I can't afford to lose any more time, I have to go 'all in'," he
added.
This week he said he was able to push himself to the limit for the
first time since June when he came down with the infection.
The 41-year-old is the most decorated Winter Olympian with 13 medals,
including eight golds. he also has 19 world titles.
Bjoerndalen's sights are set on the world championships in March that
will be held in Oslo, Norway - and likely be his last major
competition.
